A Local Implementation Team — at Your Service
For most practices, there’s a predictable sense of dread that comes with installing new technology. At HealthSystems, we do our best to make your implementation process as smooth and hassle-free as possible. We’ve been installing and upgrading GE software since 1998. Our experience and knowledge help guide every practice through implementation feeling confident and ready to go live.
While we have a framework to provide structure to the implementation process, we fine tune and adjust every step to meet your individual practice’s needs.
Kick-off. Every project starts with a launch meeting, when we’ll walk you through roles and responsibilities and discuss timeline target dates. An experienced HealthSystems project leader is assigned to every EHR software implementation and will do everything possible to help avoid undue stress on your practice during the set up process.
IT Service Provider. HealthSystems will work with your selected IT Service Provider and ensure smooth communication between all of the project stakeholders.
Data Conversion. Most practices have electronic medical data to convert from an older practice management or EMR software system. We will help you determine what data should be brought over from the old system and in what form.
Training. Our own specialized trainers will work with your entire staff onsite, offsite and online to get everyone — both clinical and administrative teams — up to speed and comfortable with our EMR software.
EDI Enrollment. We assist you with the transition to Centricity EDI, ensuring full revenue cycle management of your claims, eligibility and remittance. We make sure that your carriers are properly set up in time for the go-live date.
Customization. It’s likely that you’ll want some specific reports, forms, labels and screens tailored for your practice. We will help you create exactly what you want so that the system works best for you at go-live and beyond.
Workflow. We will work with your clinical staff to determine the appropriate way to handle chart pre-loads, e-prescribing, lab interfaces and patient encounters. Everything is adapted to your medical practice’s unique needs.
Upgrades. Upgrades are periodically required due to regulatory requirements and new releases from GE. To ensure that your Centricity Practice Solution software is up to date and current with the latest Microsoft technology platforms, GE recommends periodic upgrades. We help you implement these upgrades in the most streamlined, efficient way possible, without any undue stress on your practice.
